Today was another beautiful day. Cold but sunny with blue skies. It was 39 when we got up this morning.
The team worshiped at Chestnut Street UMC, our host agency, again today. Today was All Saints Day and the church had a service of remembrance for those church members who died this year. We remembered all those who have touched our lives whom we have lost. It was a special time of thanksgiving for the lives they lived. A little sad, but also a celebration. The service continued with another wonderful message from Pastor Lowry and ended with the celebration of communion. Really good service.
The team went to Texas Steakhouse for lunch and then home to prepare for team meeting. Our last couple arrived about 4:30 and we all met for our introductory meeting at 6:00. We will all get back to working to get people back in their home in the morning.
