We have completed the drywall!! Well, really we have completed the installation of the drywall. Today we started the finishing process – the mudding and taping. For most of the guys we work with in NOMADS this is not their favorite part. It’s really not the favorite part of the three guys working here, but that’s what we all did today. It’s what we will all be doing probably for as long as we are here. We are really pleased with the progress we are making. We are very tired but it’s a good tired. We will continue tomorrow working to get everything first coated. Life is good!

Chantel, the director of MMDC, was attending a conference of military partners and met an attendee from Belize. In their discussions Chantel found out several needs from that person’s home area. One of the needs was for an ambulance to be used as a mobile clinic. MMDC staff found this one on a government surplus site purchased it at a very good price. It will be shipped by one of the military partners to Corozal in the next few days.
